Yeah, the demolition of the #1 ranked P4P fighter was very shocking.

The 23 Enigma has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Soukodju takes out Noguiera in 23 seconds...

Serra TKOs GSP in 3:25. 32 is 23 reversed, 5 = 2+3.

Creepy.

I don't really know. I have mixed opinions. I mean, no one really expected Randy to beat Tim (except me and some others), but I wouldn't say it was upset of the year. I think people looked at his age, the last 2 Liddell fights, and his history with bigger heavyweight. Really, Randy still his it. Its just that the things I statred above seemed to overshadow his positives in that fight.

Diaz and Couture weren't that shocking. Serra dominating GSP on the other hand almost made me jump out of my seat! This was huge! HUGE!

I cant beleive people actually choose Serra vs GSP.. even if i, like at least 80% of all mma fans, put GSP for a sure win, even the biggest Matt Serra hater will admit he was a good contender for a title.

On the other hand, Sokoudjou is a freaking training partner of Dan henderson who somehow managed to get a fight with Rogerio Nogueira.

It wont matter if Sokoudjou becomes a LHW champion. At the time of that KO, he was a complete unknown fighter, not even ranked, and he koed the number 4-5 LHW contender in almost any "expert"'s list... in 23 seconds.

All the other upsets listed here were by 2 known fighters.

Sokoudjou vs Rogerio is in my opinion the biggest upset in mma history, followed by sakuraba vs Schembri.

Sokoudjou's KO of Rogerio. Hands down. That one just came out of left field.
