Seems like people have forgotten how good Nate looked before the Bendo fight. And I hate the douchebag.

Nate would bust him up on the feet like Kampmann did.

Pretty sure Diego is on the short list of a big name that could get cut because he's not going anywhere. He's clearly slipping and he doesn't bring the fight too much. Tuf winner or not it's not saving you anymore.

I would like to see them make this fight as it would be entertaining without a doubt, but Nate would win.

I think Diego is basically an ok wrestler. Might get a TD that he does nothing with...but with ease? No way in my opinion. Diego was never a great wrestler.
I still think he takes Nate down pretty easy but I'm not sure he can keep him down, and avoid his guard. I have a hard time seeing Nate subbing Sanchez but I don't really think Diego can hold him down either, as even Rory had some trouble with that at WW. It's an interesting fight & I would like to see it. Obviously standing Nate has a huge advantage. I give Nate a 60/40 chance.

I say since you cant make weight go to 170 and fight Nick one more time and then come back down and fight Nate. I seen the fight with Nick and Diego and I dont think Diego won that fight. Much has changed since Diego fought Nick. Look at what Nick did to BJ and then look at what BJ did to Diego. Come and get it ...BOY !!!!

I used to be a MASSIVE fan of Diego. He was my favourite fighter for quite a long time. I loved the way he brought it in every fight but he has looked terrible the last 3 or 4 times out though.

He's never really recovered from the beatdown he received from Penn IMO and ever since he changed his name to the 'dream' he has been poor.

He'll be lucky not to get cut if he loses a couple in a row.

Agreed, used to love Diego. Was supporting him going into the Penn fight, but since that fight he's looked like a changed man. Gone are the days where he was slugging it out with Guida, and his grinding but entertaining style that saw him take out Diaz, finish Fioravanti and beat prime Parisyan is a thing of the past. He's still entertaining in bursts, but nowhere near as exciting as he used to be. He's living off the past, and the fact he's a bit of a weirdo. I'm well and truely off the Sanchez war-train.

BJ at 70 isn't the same as the one at 55.

And the BJ Penn that fought Diego that night would have MURDERED ANY Lightweight to ever fight in MMA, ever. The BJ that showed up that night was a straight up killer, he finally lived up to his potential against Stevenson, Florian and Diego and it showed.

I used to really love Diego. But he's looked like shit for a while now (minus last round of Ellenberger). Nate would tool Diego because Diego would try and stand.
