I would be surprised to see Hathaway make it out of the first round.

Hathaway is a tough, I think he will grind Silva on the cage for most of the first trying to gain takedowns, but ultimately failing to do so.

He is tough, but if we see the Silva that fought Fitch (and ill assume he'll probably be better), than I think Hathaway has little chance Silva is a big strong WW as well.

That's a very valid point. Hathaway is a bigger WW if I'm not mistaken though?

I just think it will be hard for Silva to get the distance he needs to do damage to Hathaway, and if his cardio is the same as it was in the Fitch fight, then I see him fading in the 2nd and Hathway really taking control.

I think they both cut a fair bit of weight. Silva has probably been working on his cardio, I doubt Hathaway can put the pressure on quite like Fitch did anyways. I'll actually be rooting for Hathaway but I would be shocked if Silva didn't finish him.

Putting my intense fanfare aside, I'll say this:

This is the fight we are going to see what Erick Silva is made of. The lost to Fitch, a fight he very well could have won, could potentially make him an even more feared and deadly assassin than he was before hand. It could also take the wind out of his sales and put him on a downward spiral... Hathaway is tough enough to put that to the test. In this fight I think we'll learn whether I'm right, and Erick Silva is going to be a champion one day... or if he is going to wilt.

Hathaway has done nothing since the Diego fight, very dull fighter, I see Erick mauling him.
