Same. Overeem doesn't have the chin to stand with either. I think he has a better chance vs jds because jds is usually not aggressive and likes to counter while hunt does both. Overeem wilts when pressured and if you wilt vs hunt you are going down. Not to mention reems gas tank is around the same as hunts so he doesn't have that advantage.

I just love seeing Overeem get KTFO. So him vs Hunt or JDS.

I'm split on which fight I want to see, each has its special points that attract my interest.. Can Hunt get inside on JDS? And if he does can JDS chin handle that punishment? How will hunts gas tank hold up against JDS? CaN Hunts defence hold up against JDS if he ends up on his back?

Same thing can be said about OVereem. How will his gas tank hold up? JDS is a very effective counter striker and OVereem has periods of over aggression that could end up biting OVereem in the ass. OVereem has a more well rounded striking game and could use his kicks to pick apart JDS. On the mat JDS has the advantage.

Reem and JDS could and would both take Hunt down and do whatever they want to him.

I'd rather see Reem/JDS they are both in the top 3 at heavyweight as far as skill goes.

Overeem top 3? Doubt that.

I agree I think Overeem and JDS could take Hunt to the ground and probably win there. But would they? Overeem has touted himself as the best HW striker....which he isn't. He isn't better than JDS or Hunt on the feet. I bet Roy would find his iffy chin. Cormier would school him one way or anything.

And if anything we learned Bigfoot has more heart/power/chin than Overeem...even if he isn't technically better. Overeem being a K-1 champ has little to do with MMA. He got lucky in that tourney and he has the luxury of wading in with big puffy gloves protecting his chin. His size and power was too much for those guys when he cornered them.

Obviously not overrated. He just entered the Top10 UFC HW rankings, becoming #9 after beating Struve. That's what happens when fighters win, they climb up the ladder in rankings. Nobody pretents he'd be a complete fighter, even his fans admit that his big weakness is his ground game. He got better in that area, that's what happens when a fighter trains to improve and close the holes in his games. That doesn't mean he has become a ground wizard, and nobody pretents he were.
