I think it has everything to do with getting his T levels back up. If he's been turning in ~180 numbers... that's ridiculous for a professional athlete.

If he's use to training and competing at those higher levels... the big foot camp/fight must have been hell.

The thing is. the shot that Cormier first put him down with wasn't a simple hook or straight. it was a wild hook.

While Overeem was doing his best James Toney impression rather then throwing with real intent.

Though it is safe to say he isn't in fact the best striker at HW anymore.
