I can see either guy winning. I can see Rory being too strong for Nick and I can see Nick blasting him with combos and wearing him down. Rory is still pretty green, I think I lean Nick right now but I'm biased.

I think Nick has the better striking, but I also think Rory would outmuscle him easily. It'd look similar to Nate vs. Rory, imo.

I think Nick would overwhelm him. Condit did something similar in r3 when he fought Rory which made Rory fade.

Yeah but Nick is bigger and better then Nate. I don't think it would play out the same way but I could see moments of the fight being similar with Rory's strength.

Nick being 'bigger' than Nate still wouldn't make much of a difference. The fact is, Rory is much bigger than he was when he fought Nate, and so he'd still rag doll Nick. I like Nick as much as the next guy, but I'm still not convinced that big and powerful wrestlers can't dismantle him. We've seen him fight the smaller BJ Penn and the comparatively sized Condit, both of whom were content to stand and trade with him. I think Rory is big enough and skilled enough to put Diaz on his back and keep him there.

I also disagree that Nick is a better fighter than Nate. Nate might have looked dreadful against Henderson, but he's shown better offence on the ground than Nick has as of late, and he's becoming just as fluid with his boxing. I think Nate's range as a fighter is greater than his brother's. Not to mention, when Nate wins the striking battle, he does so without taking much, if any damage. Whereas Nick comes out looking like the loser, even when he wins.

I can accept the first part about Rory still being too strong for Nick even though he is bigger then Nate but I don't agree with the Nate>Nick at all. I don't think it's even close. Nick has the better standup and more powerful strikes. He also has a better ground game IMO. I know he has had his black belt for much longer and I think his ground game is more respected then Nate's.
I think Nick is better in every area. But he is also older, stronger and more experienced then Nate.
Now is Nate at his age better then Nick was at that age? Probably. But IMO if they fought at a neutral weight Nick would own Nate and it would have nothing to do with the big brother factor.

MacDonald sadly, which is why I hope this fight never happens.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

Rory absolutely destroyed an incredibly similar fighter in Nate Diaz. Nick has lost to every strong wrestler he's faced. Rory has a good chin and a big strength advantage.
