GSP is just scared. He's lucky he doesn't have to fight Diaz again...

What do all of those people have in common?

They all took Silva down. Not a myth.
And they all lost, most in a brutal fashion.

IMO it would take either a huge and not scared Maia or Jon Jones to get the job done.

Being as I am a Diaz fan, I've no idea what you're referring to.

GSP is one of the best guys in the company, when we talk about taking someone down and controlling him on the ground, which is a troubling subject for Anderson Silva and maybe his only weakness.. and on top of that when did he ever lost a fight on the feet, standing up and got his opponent to the ground, because of that reason? He never was a fighter, who had to take the fight to the ground, because he sucked at striking. I think a match between him and Anderson would be amazing, because GSP is maybe one of the best complete mixed martial artists in the game today. A lot of haters of GSP's style don't think he deserves the match, because he isn't knocking guys out on a daily basis, but he has what it takes to beat Silva in my opinion, due to his multiplicity and variety of attacks.

I've already said that I'm fairly certain GSP would lose to Anderson. All I can do now is have fun with this situation and troll Silva's fans.
Who knows on this forum. We got people saying Hunt has no chance vs STruve and JDS. We have some people who would pick GSP vs. Anderson. Some think Cruz will come back in the same form. How am I supposed to detect kidding vs. stupid? On this board?

Liddell was a 205er...what was he going to do move up and go fight Tim Sylvia? Was there another HW who was ranked so high P4P at the time? They were all in Pride.

Hughes said he wished he fought Franklin.

Shamrock was like 220 and fought huge guys manys times. Dude fought at HW or open weight for much of his career....what weight did you want him to challenge???

Aldo with a win here said he is moving to 155.

Your post makes no sense.

When was the last time AS fought at 170; when was the last time he even stepped on a scale, looked down, and read "170lbs"?

For me, these are the X factors that could have the most bearing on the outcome.

We all know GSP is the absolute king at 170lbs, just as we all know AS is the Jedi Master, doing things at 185 and higher that others simply can't.

What we don't know, and simply CAN'T predict with any degree of realism, is what AS will look like in a five-rounder at WW against the best WW on the planet, come fight night.

My completely arbitrary guess? If AS can't get George out of there by the end of the 2nd, he will get decisioned via ground domination.
