Still waiting for Silva hypocrites to answer this.

Why is he ducking Jones? And why was he trying to avoid the top MW? I'll keep asking til I get an answer.

Why would he want to fight Jones?

Also you can't duck a guy who doesn't want to fight you.

IIRC it was Penn who called out GSP, not the other way around.

Plus Penn has fought at WW previously/often enough. GSP hasn't fought at MW, I don't think? (but this point is secondary IMO)

Anyway, my feeling is it's OK to call out guys above your division, not below, unless the lower guy 1) has a history with you, or 2) voluntarily fights in your class in the first place.

He can't fight jones at LH because he doesn't want to stay there, he doesn't want that belt. Also he's ducking no one at middleweight, he's fighting Weidman in July.

Diaz..Edgar.. Cormier.. Cain.. Mir.. Overeem.. Jon Jones

Thanks for stating the obvious. Now explain why he's scared to fight a good bigger fighter? He already fights mediocre bigger fighters at 205. Why duck the good ones?

Because he ain't that big, he's around 215. Guys like bader, jones, rashad, Texas there walking around at 230-240 that's why. Gsp walks around at 195 why doesn't he fight at 185? Why doesn't Henderson fight at 170 or Aldo at 155?.

Diaz..Edgar.. Cormier.. Cain.. Mir.. Overeem.. Jon Jones

Size does matter in fighting, and that is why GSP cuts weight. he wants to beat up on smaller and weaker fighters. why do you want to see him beat up on smaller fighters?

that said, i don't want GSP to fight Silva, because then the bars would fill up with GSP fans who don't know anything about mma, and the service would suck. my drinks will come much faster if Silva fights someone that isn't canadian.

Extremely irrelevant. The point is they fought and GSP welcomed the fight with open arms. Also Penn didnt really call him out...it was hyped up by the UFC and Penn agreed to it because he wants to fight everyone.

Secondly the fact that Penn fought at WW means very little...he fought at LHW and MW...actually multiple fights at MW too...that doesnt mean it would've been appropriate for Rampage or Anderson to call him out.

The point is the size disparity between Penn and GSP is larger than Silva and GSP...yet GSP doesn't seem to catch flack for beating a career < .500 WW.

Your logic is absolutely hilarious.

Yes fighters should be reflected upon POORLY because they fight guys 40 lbs above where they started their career as an adult...including a dude one fight away from being a world champion.

It can't be viewed as just an additional achievement that confirms his greatness...we must look upon it negatively because he didn't continue to be the best LHWs in the world.

You see that Dan Henderson guy? So what if he's beaten two of the top 3 HWs of all time while starting his career at Middleweight(technically 192 but go with it) ? WHY HASNT HE FOUGHT CAIN!?? WHY HASNT HE FOUGHT JDS!?!?

What a hypocrite ducker.

I don't find any of that irrelevant at all; the point of how the fight comes to be is most important to me - but that's OK because it's just personal opinions.
