I do enjoy fight sports very much... but not Diaz fights. As I;ve said before in this forum, I enjoy watching a fight for the technical side of it, trying to figure out a fighter's strategy once the fight starts. I enjoy fighters who bring a full arsenal of styles and can mix it up depending on the opponent. Diaz is the same fight after fight, not exciting ... to me. But, to be blatantly honest, I just can't stand to listen to Diaz talk. He brings no intelligent comments to a presser, continually refuses to accept responsibility for himself, he has no accountability to anyone or anything and I fully expect to see him struggle with life and depression within the next 5 years and fully expect him to be flat broke in about that same amount of time. Harsh words, I know, but the truth is he is a complete trainwreck.

I've seen all of those fights. I still don't find him entertaining. Where as I can watch GSP's technique all day long. See for me it's not enough for the guy to show up to fight. I want to see technique and fighting spirit. If only one is there I want it to be technique.

That is not dead which can eternal lie and withs strange aeons even death may die.

Not necessarily, neither is beating the other one easily here. If Sonnen can LnP Silva with such ease it's crazy to count out GSP.

It's funny how a few years ago everybody thought GSP would beat Anderson easily, now that fight nobody isnt remotely interesting as Anderson would beat him easily.
How does completely shutting down your opponent and making him look ineffective everywhere make one overrated? Because Nick was able to stuff one or two brazenly half-arsed takedown attempts, GSP is overrated? Are you high?

No, do Diaz/Marquardt dump the loser. Frankly the UFC shouldn't cut anyone in the top 10/20 because if you want to be the best in the world you should have the best fighters in the world.

They won't cut him. Dana put up with Tito Ortiz for years for the same reason he's putting up with Nick Diaz now. $$$$$

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Honestly, I don't see him fighting much longer anyway for some reason. I think UFC went through all the trouble and took all the risks with Nick just so they could get the big fight against GSP. Now that that's overwith, I don't think the UFC would figure its worth keeping him on the roster anymore being as unstable an 'Employee' as he is. I mean, what more big fights are people asking for that involve Nick? Diaz vs Anderson Silva? Diaz vs Condit II? Diaz vs Maia? I feel that he's too unstable to continue fighting for much longer anyways, especially if he's not involved in a favorable match-up.

The only reason why I would want him to leave the UFC is because I feel that he would be happier elsewhere, doing something else in life. The pressures of MMA may not be the healthiest career for a man so obviously troubled.

Man I hate to say it but I agree. Nick kind off shot his wad against George. I dont think he is near as marketable as he was. His trash talkin before the fight didnt even make any sense and he looked like s**t in the fight. I would be a little pi**ed if I was Gracie. He keeps talking Gracie JJ is the best blah blah blah, then use it in your fights BRO. He also keeps talking he doesnt have this or that in his team like George, if I was part of his team I would have told him to stick it in his a**.

Diaz is so exciting I would rather watch him loose most fights compared to a large number of boring fighters I know win!

He may not be everyone's cup of tea, I don't know how you could argue he isn't excited, skilled and a cardio machine.

Most fighters cant even claim two of those traits
