He did wilt. He regressed deeper and deeper into the fight. That's the very definition of wilting. Even if his poor little fingers did have boo-boos, GSP dominated Alves with a torn groin. And Anderson Silva won his fight with broken freaking ribs after taking a 4.5 round beating from Sonnen. Hendricks will break under GSP's pressure. Just as he did against Story, and just as he nearly did against Kos - matches where, ironically, he suffered no physical injuries.

Hendricks had a look of fear on his face going into the third with Condit. If that's not wilting, I don't know what is.

And with a response like this, I'm certain I'd not be interested in anything you have to say regardless.

And Hendricks beat Condit with dislocated fingers. =)

The point - obviously - was that GSP's dominance wasn't hurt by a much more severe injury. And Silva managed to dig deep and pull out a victory when all seemed lost. Hendricks, however, noticeably regressed and dropped the third round. Fading, wilting, gassing - call it whatever you want, Johny does it.

Good to hear Hendricks' hand isn't broken.

I think it's unlikely they book GSP v Hendricks in August. GSP's is the UFC's biggest PPV draw which means they'll likely want to book him on one of the biggest cards which is more likely September. They also want to get him back to Vegas so they can cash in at the gate.

I don't think you know at all what you are talking about. Hendricks couldn't grapple or punch because oh my god, his hand got dislocated. I suppose when Griffin lost to Rashad he should've just sucked it up

While being a long time lurker, one thing I've noticed about Canadian Psycho is that his opinion translates directly into fact.

E.g. the impression that he thought Hendricks was wilting transfers directly to Hendricks WAS wilting... His knowledge of MMA is unquestionable as us mere casuals don't see the complexities that a true expert of the MMA world sees.

People wonder why this forum is going downhill and has been for a while is because it is no longer a place to share knowledge but to be lectured to by a small minority who believe volume of posts equals knowledge of MMA
