Yeah that writer doesn't seem biased. "Sonnen just dominated the round. DOMINATED." Who writes like that about a random round with almost nothing but top control?

Might as well have followed it with "And he looked soooo handsome doing it. STUNNING. And what a sense of humor ROTFLOLMAO he's so the man".

He's no judge.

You Sonnen-hater just don't see that it was just a massacre like the first round of Maynard-Edgar II!

Diaz has as much chance at beating GSP then I do. Besides, Dana won't make this match because nobody is going to pay to see it. Hardly anybody liked the first outing so why would they pay to see the rematch?

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

About 1.1 million did buy that PPV so maybe those numbers temp the UFC to do a rematch? Never say never.

I doubt a rematch gets anything close to that.

It was a fairly predictable fight.

Even half that number is a good PPV these days for the UFC.

saying Chael Sonnen won round 1 (2nd fight) 10-8 is insane, he got on top and .... wait, he did nothing else!!
tbh that was the ultimate FU from AS to Chael Sonnen! when you go to your favorite position (that sounds like something else lol) and do nothing but holding, well that's not very good for you. Not to mention that he was finished quickly in the second round

and hear me out please, Diaz and Chael are different! Chael is classy and Diaz not so much. But you can't deny that they are working on talking themselves to fights. It's not like i see Diaz deserving a rematch, i'm just seeing it from his perspective, that's it

my english isn't good, so im sorry if im not making any sense haha

When you get people like Jones, Sonnen, and GSP, I don't see the issue with talking about fighters who came within inches of handing them defeat. Vitor ultimately lost to Jones, but is there harm in giving Vitor his due for almost locking on an armbar? Sonnen was finished twice, but is it all that bad to commend him for doing what literally no one else has even been able to fathom doing? Heck, I even give Carlos Condit credit for being the only person willing to actually engage GSP off of his back.

Plenty of people care. Hence why we're talking about it. If you don't care, then why get involved? The idea that we can't give someone credit or discuss a fighter's performance even in loss is a bit dense.
