Diaz to GSP "I think I can't beat cha"

Holy crap. How delusional is this guy?

He actually looks at the camera with a straight face, pumps his chest and acts like some tough guy and says to GSP - "I want a Rematch, I think I can beat cha"?

Dude, get a small grip on reality. Rematches are only given when the loser demonstrated a signifigant ability to beat the title holder, but lost a close decision, lost at the last second by a lucky punch or submission, or lost when most people think he won.

Dude, Diaz, you got totally dominated for 5 rounds. You had no answer for what GSP Brought, you could not stop it, as much as I wish you could, but like all others before you, they knew what GSP ws going to do, but still couldn't stop it.

For you to ask for a rematch, after the beating you took, is a total joke.

Diaz is a master of the mindgames. losing the fight was part of his plan to completely unhinge GSP. now come the scandals to force the rematch, and Diaz will bring it this time, unless he thinks it will take a trilogy to retire GSP.

why do we need another thread about this? if the people who social network for GSP find out, then this won't work.

I'm just getting flat out tired of this guy and I don't have the energy to say what I think about Diaz anymore. This guy just needs to go and be gone from the sport forever. He's embarrassing the sport, himself, and his camp. Just stop Nick, do us all a favor and just go away.

Good to see he's back on the weed. A stoned Diaz is a happy delusional unarrested diaz. Sure he can beat Diaz, and then he'll run for President and settle down with Taylor Swift. All things are possible when you are high.

He's just trying to put his name in the radar, it's not hard to see.
Chael Sonnen lost horribly to AS, and now he's fighting for the LHW title at the end of the month. Why? cuz he used his mouth right.

but, guess what? the fight ended two weeks ago, and still everybody's talking about Nick Diaz

1) Chael Sonnen dominated Anderson in their first fight.

2) Chael Sonnen did not 'lose horribly' to Anderson in their second fight (he took a 10-8 in R1).

3) Chael Sonnen is fighting Jon Jones because everyone's favourites - Lyoto and Shogun - refused to. It's hilarious how many people forget that others were offered the fight with Jones long before Dana called up Sonnen.

3) When Chael Sonnen loses, he congratulates his opponent and moves onto the next challenge.

There is no comparison between Chael and Diaz. Chael strategizes, whereas Nick gets creamed for 5 rounds and then says, 'I still think I can beat you'. Nick's best bet, and I say this as a big fan, would be to take that rematch with Carlos, win, and then call out GSP. I doubt very much that anyone actually wants to see him and St. Pierre go at it again right now.

It's amazing how much clearer and focused Nate's mindset is. He gets a 5 round arse kicking from Henderson, and how does he handle it? He moves onto the next fight in an attempt to reestablish his name. There's a novel concept.

Yes, the Sonnen comparisons are silly.

I like how people can be so selective with the facts. Throwing statements like "Sonnen doesnt deserve his shot against Bones"... with little or no context.

The shot was offered to many of the so-called "deserving" fighters but they shit their panties and turned it down... except Chael. In my mind, that makes him most deserving of the shot.

As for Diaz... why all the whining from you guys? Its par the course as far as Diaz is concerned. He reacted to the loss exactly as I expected him too... and I love him for it.

Eh, I don't mind the trash talk so much. Frankly, a few of Nick's barbs towards GSP at the post-fight press conference made me laugh. And I've always been a fan of his and Nate's 'style' both in and out of the cage. I'd just like to see him take a few other big fights at UFC rather than go this sad route. I still see Nick as a top WW fighter, and I'd much rather see him put his stamp on the UFC WW division than take a couple of losses, complain, and then retire. I don't mind this little schtick, but I'd hate to see him retire off of it.

Whether he's ever a UFC Champion or not, he can still do big things and have good fights in the organization. That itself would add to his legacy.

Lets not ignore the facts now.

Chael Sonnen was easily beating Silva until he grabbed his shorts and Silva was greased up prior to that.

Jones/Sonnen is the UFC's way of making it up to Chael for having his last title shot get robbed from him.
