Doc: What sport did you practice?

Little warrior: I did some fighting

Doc: You used to fight, then? Do you like it? Do you REALLY like fighting? What did you practice?

Little warrior: Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Judo

Doc: Who do you like more in fighting?

Little warrior: Anderson Silva and Minotauro

Doc: Anderson Silva and Minotauro? *walks to the door*

*Anderson Silva enters and the little warrior start crying*

Anderson: What's up brother? Haha! Don't cry, don't cry! Give me a hug here!

Anderson: Give me a hug, give me a hug! *hugs the kid* What's up little man, how have you been? Everything all right? Let's get better soon? Come on, give me a hug, a hard hug! Let's get better soon, eh?

Little warrior: (sobbing) I don't believe...

Anderson: I'm here brother! Will you get better soon or not?

Little warrior: Let's do it...

Doc/Anderson: Come here João, let's take a picture!

Anderson: Look, I brought you your fighting gear, your signed gloves, this (signed poster) and this (his action figure)

Anderson: Let me tell you something... Look, you will need to do something VERY IMPORTANT for all of us, you will need to work hard to get better soon, okay? Minotauro had the same problem, and he still fighting, so you will need to keep working hard, right? I talked with Minotouro (Lil Nog), and we will talk with Doctor Angela who was taking care of Minotauro (Big Nog), and she will come here to help you, so you can resume your training as soon as possible, okay? Right?

Little warrior: Right... Thank you very much for coming here to see me...

Anderson: It is me who thank you (hugs João), so let's get better soon, okay? And stop crying, let's be happy! You will get better soon, and we will train, right? Promise me?

Little warrior: Yes...

Anderson: All right, so we'll roll after you get better

Doc: Did you like the surprise?

End.
this is beautiful.

although I dislike the guy for his actions in the Mia and second Sonnon fight its good of him to do this.

I remember Louisville Cardinal and Kentucky wildcat basketball players visited me when I had cancer and it made a huge difference in keeping my spirits up

Yeah, I am Anderson cornerman and it was an off night for me. I really didn't like what he did but I fully understand why it happened, as I understand all the neg repercution that followed. Anyway, an off night. Water under the bridge. Anderson gave countless reasons to be a likable champion before and after that fight.

Am I the only one who really enjoyed the Maia fight? Not much of a fight, but awesome entertainment none the less.

Both Maia and Leites were so out of their depth, they we're like rabbits in headlights. It was disgraceful match making on the UFC's part.

As for the video. I certainly struggle to remember any celebrity clips that have felt as moving and sincere as this one. I'm old enough to have seen plenty. They usually make me want to kill my monitor... not sympathise.

Anderson is a poster boy for solidarity and piece.

"Count to 10"

Here is Anderson in a campaingn against violence in Brazil. His appearance on TV normally is associated with sportsmanship, respect and piece making. That's the reason he provokes such emotional reactions as shown by this boy in the hospital.

Narrator: When a person messes with someone like him on the streets, that person has no idea what he is capable of...

Anderson: I am capable of letting it go. My life worths more than any streetfight or discussion.

Narrator: In Brazil, hundreds of people are killed for futile reasons.

Anderson: Count to 10. The anger fades away and the life goes on. Piece: This is the attitude.

Narrator: A campaingn issued by the Public Ministry Nacional Council.

It's really nice to know he inculcates true martial arts values like humility and walking away from violence except as a last resort in defense only.

Then again, what kind of a fool with a deathwish would actually call out or piss off Anderson freakin Silva in the streets. You'd think he's famous enough.
