Anybody have any thoughts?

The reason UFC has never had one is because the NEVADA STATE ATHLETIC COMMISSION wont allow it. Seriously... what do you think would happen if you put GSP vs Arlovski? Or Anderson Silva vs Cro Cop? Or Liddell vs Shawn Sherk? It would not be pretty. The littler guys would get murdered!!!

The only way I see it working is if they did somthing like:

LW vs WW

WW vs MW

MW vs LHW

LHW vs HW

In the first tournaments Royce Gracie weighed what? 185? He beat Gerard Gordeau(215), Remco Pardoel(250), Pat Smith(225), Kimo Leopoldo(235), Keith Hackney(200), and Dan Severn(250).

All those fights took place from UFC 1-UFC 5. He fought a total of 13 matches in those tournaments with 11 wins, with at least 6 of them being against bigger guys.

Just thought I'd point that out.
