I agree he needs to quit lifting so much, its weird because he did a interview about how its more about the technique than the bulk and that he had learned that from going to the zoo or something.

Mir needs to avoid stupid situations and not focus up on bulking up to get out of them.

Dirty boxing with Carwin? Clinching with Brock? Striking with JDS? He has a complete inability to implement game plans or take the fight to where he is at an advantage.

(I spend so much time screaming at him on the TV I feel like we might be related)

Ugh, he just pisses me off.

High hopes for Uriah Hall. Terrific athlete who is already a really good striker and seems to have fully grasped Chael P.'s tutelage.

I used to think Charles Oliveira would be the next big thing if he dropped to 145... now not so much.

For the next wave of prospects I am buying Hacran Dias, James Te-Huna, and Tyron Woodley. I am selling Gunnar Nelson, Jimi Manuwa, and Khabib N.

Charles Oliviera, that was the name I was trying to think of lol. Still young though so maybe he will find a way to put things together.

I think it wasn't a question about hunger, but rather one of judging. Hendricks scored the take downs, but did close to nothing with them, while Condit did quite some damage off his back. I might have given to win to Condit, but wasn't surprised with the official outcome. I think in a 5 round fight Condit may even have finished Hendricks.

Yes, it sounds like straight out of Martin Kampman's academy of game planing.

I actually really like Mir and agree with what everyone has said. I have said and thought for a long time if Mir went to a top camp and didnt have so many yes men and his dad making strats he could have or could do a lot better.

Guillard for me, has so much potential but never seems to get past that hump when he gets high enough in the ladder. World beater on some nights and head case in others.

You don't think Junior can beat Cain again?

I'd suggest you rewatch the second fight, Junior swept him and was easily stuffing his telegraphed takedowns until Cain knocked him down. All he had to do was pounce on him instead of going back to the middle of the cage.
