A very beautiful knock out win from Anthony. Roger just fell right into him after that. A little too much aggression on his part. You can't do that against a technical guy like Anthony. He got his California win.

haha I wouldn't be surprised if they just started picking people out of the crowd at this point.

For the record, I think Elkins is a decent fighter. He just had no right fighting Mendes, and neither did McKenzie or Joe Schmo.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

Yeah, Mendes should be fighting the top guys in his division. He's among the elite at 145 in my opinion. Him fighting even solid competition in Elkins shows that he's on another level. I want to see him fight the winner of Edgar vs. Oliveira, and by that, I mean I want to see him fight Edgar.

To be honest if im working for the UFC and they off me easy opponents to get easy paychecks and finishes for my record and finish bonuses, im taking all the fights too. That said he will lose to chang sung and edgar if he gets to either of them, aldo again and pettis would hurt him too.

That may be so, but he should be fighting guys like them at the very least. Who knows, he may surprise us against one. (Probably not Aldo or Pettis) His striking is looking better these days, and he has power. I'm not talking about his wins over easy opponents like McKenzie, but a knock out win over a tough guy in Elkins is impressive. Elkins is pretty durable and can usually take a lot of punishment. Mendes has power in his hands. I hope to see him continue to improve.

I think you know better you are just being a Canadian hugger and be the guy to go against the grain.

I don't see how Carmont won.

Mendes vs winner of next title fight at best or the winner of the Swanson/Siver, Edgar/Olivera or Sung/Llamas fight at worst. REally liking where FW has got to the past year.

...Man, wicked fights tonight. Matt Brown was ultra-impressive. Brutal finish for Brown. Thompson's finish on Diaz was gruesome, but sweet as hell!. What a headkick. Gosh...Cormier & Mir---Henderson & Melendez is gonna be insane. Serious stuff ahead...

watching prelims right now, Dillashaw got a good knockout, Benavidez looked good out there and James Franco (Myles Jury) just knocked the shit out of Nijem
