This idea that Mir has good striking is hilarious.

Cormier at more of a reach disadvantage....vs. a better striker...dropped Bigfoot like a sack of marbles.

Game over.
bigfoot was already known to get dropped against heavy hitters plus that was a short fight and a short striking exchange + cormiers stand up is overrated besides bigfoot he has outsruck scrubs like monson and staring. Mir on the other hand has good technical stand up and has outsruck the likes of big nog, cro cop and kongo.

Mir sucks on the feet and he sucks at wrestling. His chin is made of cabbage.

Cormier also rolled with Barnett for the better part of 5 rounds and came out unscathed. I think he's gonna be just fine.

Your facts are all wrong. If you want to make a thread and talk about something, at least come with some common knowledge on the subject. When was Bigfoot dropped? He lost by KO/TKO once before Corimer trashed him. Way back in 2006. He had lost a total of 2 times.

You make no sense.

Yea, since Nog with staph infection is worth anything. Notice how a healthy Nog trashed Mir standing so bad it wasn't funny.

Yea, Cro Cop was some world beater. CC was KO'd by Bredan Schaub during that time. Mir caught him with a radom knee at the end of teh fight.

Kongo, who a gatekeeper at best, was Mir's only shining moment standing.

Mir would get taken to the cleaners by Bigfoot. Mir's standup sucks. Did you see him against Nog? Mir had zero head movement and looked like a novice. Technical striking? Is that some kind of joke?

Monson has better striking than Mir.

i like mir a lot so ill go with OP. plus he has a lot more experience in the octagon and against top level competition as he has fought exclusively for the UFC since his 3rd pro fight per wiki. Big Foot is the only person of note that Cormier has finished. I think its too soon for me to buy into the hype that is "DC". we didnt get to see him fight Fedor or Overeem in Strikeforce. if he gets any octagon jitters, he'll be in trouble because Mir will not. as long as Frank doesnt come out with whatever the F his game plan was against JDS, he could win. This isn't nearly the squash match on paper that people make it out to be. Cormier is just a fad unless he beats Frank Mir, in my eyes anyway.

Mate Frank Mir is one of the ufc's most overrated fighters, he's a sack of ####. Cormier will finish Mir in less than 2 rounds.

Diaz..Edgar.. Cormier.. Cain.. Mir.. Overeem.. Jon Jones

That's exactly what Mir said before his rematch with Brock.
