There is literally nothing likable about him. His fighting style sucks, his personality sucks and he's just a complete lame ass and he has three gift decisions, two of them being over Little Rocky that he thinks he actually won. The man is an out right thief.

His proposal was lame, he's lame and I hope Maynard beats him to within an inch of his life. I can't stand him. And this isn't like Anderson where 50 percent is hate and the other 50 is trolling, I literally can't stand anything about Ben Henderson.

Does winning 3 close fights make him a dick or does it make the officials the dicks? As far as the other stuff, I guess I just haven't been listening to him, that and I don't tweet. The whole God is my savior/I thank him for this win is pretty off putting and has always been a sore spot for me. To make it sound like God has nothing else going on on Saturday nights, that he's watching the fights. Diego Sanchez is the king of all doucheness when he does that and that stupid I haven't crapped in a week look on his face.

The proposal was stupid and corny in the first place so I kinda think it served him right.

Also there are many reasons why Henderson is a dick (see Aris post for examples). He's my least favourite fighter after Chael.

It was a dick move to propose, it's tacky to do a public proposal (and to use a movie quote) but it was a dick move to propose there. I mean he should have known that this was Melendez's home town and the fans were going to boo him, but to hear the boos and still go through with it.

Exactly and no one wants to be apart of your marriage proposal memory anyways, if he was smart or romantic he would have done it in arizona after the fight.

I think the booing was for several reasons:

1. Melendez is the hometown fighter.
2. Many people there probably biasedly thought Melendez won.
3. Other people probably unbiasedly thought Melendez won.
4. After all of the explosive finishes, many were probably impatient that the main event didn't finish the same way. I mentioned before MMA fans can be fickle. I've been to UFC in San Jose before and believe me when I tell you people were booing Shogun vs Hendo in the audience before that fight was over.
5. Bendo might be a nice dude really but he isn't beloved or anything my most.
6. Wedding proposals as PDA's are not entertaining to anyone unless you care about those people on a personal level. It was a little tacky.
7. Many were booing because they thought that poor girl deserved to receive a marriage proposal over a nice romantic t-bone steak dinner and not in a blood and sweat soaked combat arena.
8. YO! DAT DUDE DIDN'T GIVE GILBERTO PROPS!!!!
9. Bendo might of lost a fan or two with the late break at the end of round 3 (yeah, I'm running out of reasons).
and
10. Last fight of the night, everyone is liquored up!!!

That said I cringed but did not boo. I vote disrespectful because tha's how I roll. I get down right angry when idiots boo good MMA. I didn't like the post fight booing during the proposal but given the cards were literally just read seconds before, Bendo could not of picked a worse time I think.

No, but it doesn't give him much credibility as the champion. Like I previously mentioned, a lot of people had Henderson losing those fights, particularly the Edgar fights.

I didn't think the crowd was booing that part all that much compared to what happened before and after. Tacky but hell, if I just defended my title in front of millions on TV and just secured another 6-figure payday with more guaranteed to come, I would do whatever I want, and I think my girlfriend would be OK with whatever I want.

I liked the fact that he proposed.

The boos of the crowd were simply stupid.
