Werdum is a pretty nasty match up for him. His striking is a lot better, and he has the clear advantage on the ground.

I don't even like Cain, but how does Werdum stop him from bullying him against the cage with dirty boxing and knees from the clinch?

Have you seen Werdum's fight with Roy? His clinch work was nasty. His Muay Thai is pretty good.

Nelson is an obese MW. Werdum would hold his own for a round or so before Cain's pace wore him out.

Werdum is as good on the ground and the feet as Cain. The only thing is could Werdum handle the pace Cain sets. I def think he could sub him.

Cain and Cormier probably already know the answer.

I have said for a while I think DC beats Cain. But it would be a hell of a fight. Cain has a more out-put striking and sets a pace. DC is a better wrestler and would be one of the only guys who can deal with Cain's wrestling. Would be interesting to see how they stack up with striking, but I will go DC slightly.

I think the real question is can DC take JDS? I imagine they'll meet in the near future..

IMO Cain is the better striker but Cormier is the better wrestler. It would be a very interesting fight. I'd lean Cain right now but DC could take it.
