Cormier vs Cain..... Who would win.

I know this fight won't happen, but if it did who would win. Ime a fan of both and last night Cormier impressed me big time. I think people forget Cormiers strength is wrestling, yet he managed to dominate frank Mir with some of the best clinch work I've seen in a long time without even using it. It's a close call for me but I'd pick Cormier.

Diaz..Edgar.. Cormier.. Cain.. Mir.. Overeem.. Jon Jones

I'd say Cain mainly because Cormier seems like he wouldn't be able to truly get into a fight against a friend while Cain is a pure fighter through and through.

But if it was a scenario where they weren't friends then it would be a coin toss.

The best cormier beats the best cain meaning the mos tin shape of both fighters who fight to their strengths daniel would come out since he is the better wrestler and has more power.

Just based on first impression, I think Cormier is a bit stronger and has better wrestling than Cain. Cain's a tad bigger, and while Cormiers hands look faster, I like Cains boxing a little bit more. Other than that, they are pretty identical. That would be a pretty good match-up. It's a shame they train in the same camp.

I can't decide so I think they should fight so we can all find out. Screw friendship.

If Cormier can handle the pace Cain will try to set, I think he can pull it off.

Well , for the moment its Cain for sure ... but with time we'll see... Cain really its at another level from every HW right now if he keeps this fire and paste that he's fighting ...
The fight I would love to see is , Cain vs Werdum

I don't think Werdum offers much for Cain if Cain fights smart. Cain should have no problem doing the same thing Cormier did to Mir last night. Except Cain with do it at a much higher pace and Werdum will probably start gassing and Cain will go in for the kill.

The 3rd round told me a lot, Cormier faded, and Cain only starts to fade towards the end of the 5th. Speed kills in this fight, Cormier would gas in round 2 trying to keep up with Cain.

And this is from a guy that picked against Cain in his last 4 fights.
