As expected, DJ will get a match-up in his home town against previously scheduled Morage.
Also added are Tate vs Carmouche and Schaub vs Mitrione,
10 bouts are on the card so far, expect 2-3 more to be added in the coming weeks, as I vented in another thread, please don't let the main card consist of two of the following, Tate/Liz, or Tarec/Lawler, Schaub/Mitrione, DJ/Moraga with Rory/Ellenberger was a great start, still needing some fire power...
Flyweight Championship bout: Demetrious Johnson vs John Moraga
Welterweight bout: Jake Ellenberger vs Rory MacDonald
Expect 1 if not 2 of 3 to feature on the 4 bout Main Card:
Women's Bantamweight bout: Liz Carmouche vs Miesha Tate
Welterweight bout: Robbie Lawler vs Tarec Saffiedine
Heavyweight bout: Matt Mitrione vs Brendan Schaub
Lightweight bout: Mac Danzig vs. Melvin Guillard
Lightweight bout: Danny Castillo vs Bobby Green
Lightweight bout: Michael Chiesa vs Reza Madadi
Lightweight bout: Yves Edwards vs Spencer Fisher
Women's Bantamweight bout: Germaine de Randamie vs Julie Kedzie
Atleast there is a LW tourney brewing on the Prelims
"UFC on FOX 8 finally has a headliner, as UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson (17-2-1 MMA, 5-1-1 UFC) meets challenger John Moraga (12-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC).
Additionally, a women's bout between Liz Carmouche (8-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Miesha Tate (13-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has also been added to the event and will take place on the evening's main card.
The additions were first reported by FOXSports.com and later confirmed by UFC officials.
UFC on FOX 8 takes place July 27 at Seattle's KeyArena. The evening's main card airs on FOX.
The Johnson vs. Moraga bout was originally expected to headline this month's The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale event before the champ was forced out with an injury. "Mighty Mouse" most recently appeared at UFC on FOX 6, where he survived a tough second round against John Dodson to recover and cruise to a unanimous decision in the event's headliner.
The 26-year-old Johnson, who trains out of AMC Pankration, became the UFC's first flyweight champion at UFC 152, where he won a split decision against Joseph Benavidez in the unofficial final of a four-man tournament created to crown the division's first titleholder.
Meanwhile, Moraga gets the title shot on the strength of two straight wins in the octagon. He debuted this past August with a first-round TKO of Ulysses Gomez, then followed up with a third-round submission of Chris Cariaso at UFC 155 that won him a $65,000 performance bonus.
Tate looks to bounce back from a loss to Cat Zingano at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale, where she was ahead on the cards two rounds to none before "Alpha" bounced back with an incredible third-round TKO comeback. The bout earned both women a share of the evening's "Fight of the Night" bonus, while Zingano was also awarded a shot at women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey and a slot as a coach on "The Ultimate Fighter 18."
Carmouche looks to earn her first UFC win after falling short against Rousey in the first women's bout in UFC history. The loss snapped a two-fight win streak for the Strikeforce and Invicta FC veteran. "
