Demian Maia vs. Josh Koscheck at UFC Rio 4

Translation via Google Translate:

The card for UFC Rio 4 event held on August 3 begins to take shape and status of a super event. In the main we have the superfight between Brazilian Jose Aldo to defend his belt for the 4th time in the UFC against Anthony "Showtime" Pettis, besides the main event one more fight this "almost" right for the event. The site NewsMMA found that Brazilian Demian Maia and American, Josh Kosheck should come into collision course in August, scheduled for UFC 163, in this wonderful city.

The brazilian Demian Maia (18-4) comes in clear rise in the category since their arrival, were 3 win against Hyun Kim, Story and Fitch. The fight against the Brazilian Kosheck certainly put very close to a title shot if they win.

Already Kosheck (17-7) has a bad phase in the last 5 fights were 3 losses. The fighter this with 2 consecutive losses (Hendricks and Lawler) and a possible loss to Demian August put your job at stake within the company.

Guess that means Kos is getting cut. ****.

Silva's matchmaking has been shit as of late. This fight looks really boring on paper and it makes no sense if you look at their current streaks.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

Not crazy about this fight. Maia should fight someone comming off a win, not two straight losses. Kos is a tough opponent, but this is a step backwards.

I actually see Josh as a step down from Fitch. Not to mention, winners ought to fight winners... strange matchmaking.

Lol bad match up. Maia will get a name on his record that's all. Kos is done.

There wasn't many better options to be honest. Unless they matched him with Matt Brown, Koscheck should be more of a challenge.

Funny how Koscheck is done yet arguably beat Hendricks. IMO that fight was a draw.

Maia walks right through him and gets a RNC.

People are writing Kos off a little too quickly. I think he is a better then Fitch in several areas (striking, TDD, TD's). I wouldnt be surprised to see him beat Maia.
