He beat some good fighters at MW but he is a huge MW and hasn't performed well at LHW. I don't think he beats any of the top LHWs outside of Hendo.

Anderson is still the #1 P4P in my opinion, simply because of his long undefeated reign and that he has competed in 2 weight classes.

I don't think Anderson could get past Jones though. I don't think anybody at LHW or MW can at this point. Nobody has taken out Chael so quickly. It took Anderson 5 rounds and even in the second fight Chael passed guard and mounted him. Just imagine what Jones would do.

P4P talk is always kinda silly. If I had to choose, I'd put the top 3 as basically equals - there's a good argument for each. Whatever.

Def not. I'm the biggest Bones fan on the forum probably but I don't think you could say he's better than GSP or Silva at the moment. He's absolutely destroying people left and right but Silva has been doing so for a while, and while GSP has had a lot of uninspiring performances these last few years, a win is a win, and he's been doing plenty of it lately. I think GSP or Silva would need to lose until JBJ dethrones one of them, or if Bones kept this pace for the next 2-3 years then he could surpass one of them regardless.

i have jbj as #1

silva has a glaring weakness in wresting which jones could take advantage of and i really cant find a weakness in Jones

Beating chale does not make him p4p king but the performance in a fight with chael is something that can be used to compare and contrast JBJ with silva.

in the 2nd fight it took 2 rounds (losing the first badly), under handed tactics and a major screw up by chael (spinning back fist) for silva to beat him where jones just dominated him right off the bat.

Given the fact that Anderson has defeated Jones last two opponents, and probably would murder anyone Jon Jones has faced I still think he's number one. You can't be ranked p4p for the pasted 2-3 years and lose ur spot even thought you have remained undefeated.
Plus it's hard to argue against him with this resume:

How can it be a weakness when no one has been able to beat him? Yeah wrestling may be his weakness but he has been facing guys who are amazing wrestlers. That is like me saying Jon Jones's weakness is his striking,he has yet to face a elite striker. Machida did some good, but Machida is not anderson silva.

You can't use sonnen as a base for ur argument, it took Jones 9 to beat bonnar and belfort. It took Silva 2, and he wasn't even hitting them most of those fights just waited.

No. He wasn't before the Sonnen fight, and that fight holds nowhere near enough merit to push Jones to #1.

Jose Aldo is above Jones P4P IMO, his record is 22-1(better), he has more title defenses(better), he has beaten a who's who of his division IN THEIR PRIME(better), he has beaten fighters from higher weight(better), and is currently scheduled to fight another guy from LW(better).

Aldo's career to date is more accomplished than Jones' on all fronts, and they are basically the same age.

I think Jones is above Aldo, but Aldo doesn't get as much credit as he deserves. The dude should be in the discussion has an impressive body of work. Technically undefeated since 06, and is the only MMA fighter to participate in a superfight so far.
