That was most likely the highlight of Cro Cop's career besides winning the Grand Prix. Wanderlei had not been stopped since 1998 and that fight was in 2006. Wanderlei only lost two decisions against Hunt and Arona. His reign of terror was legendary and that fight showed the "true soldier" in Crocop cuz you could see in his eyes for the first time in any sanctioned fight that he wanted to kill em and hurt em badly. On my list of top 10 beatdowns along with Wandy vs Rampage and maybe even Wandy vs Stann.

Might as well add my list of top 10 beatdowns with a finish. Heck I should start a thread.

10.) Goodridge vs Paul Herrera (first time I've seen a crucifix with deadly results.)
9.) Vitor vs Tank Abbott vs Wandy vs everyone early in his career.
8.) Brock vs Mir II (Mir was a mess and it was never close.)
7.) LHW title holder vs Shogun for the title (He made one of the toughest fighters tap out. That warrants a nod even though he's still a sob...haha.)
6.) GSP vs Serra/Penn (Grudge matches, one of the last time he was able to finish.)
5.) Fedor vs everyone basically
4.) Chuck vs Tito
3.) Wandy vs Rampage I and II
2.) Crocop vs Wandy
1.) Anderson Silva vs Forrest Griffin (This was an absolute flawless performance getting hit only once. Anderson landed 13-26 shots and Griffin 1-26.)

Honourable mentions:
Would mention Shogun vs Hendo, but nobody got finished amazingly enough.
Cain vs Brock
Overeem vs Brock

Marcus Aurelius: Tell me again, Maximus, why are we here?
Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.

Maybe we'll do 1,000,000. This is easier than taking candy from a baby, and I like you... I'd feel bad taking your credits on such an easy bet

Acting like Chael will have a hard time taking old man Wand down because Mike Bisping couldn't do it is a laugh riot. Seriously... 2,000,000 credits. You and me. Though you may as well just give them to me now.

Chael loses to the top two P4P best, and he's overrated. Wand KOs Brian Stann, and he's on a career resurgence. And people say Sonnen fans buy into the hype
I've seen you say this once before (or was it the same thread?) anyway just had to ask how you figure that? he lost to Filho in 2007 and Maia in 2009.

The filho fight I think was a bad stoppage, sure chael yelled in anguish but he never tapped. He defiantly lost to maia though so that would be your 1 loss.

Chael knows he's not touching the belt so I'm glad he's hanging around for a few more paychecks. He's a hell of a promoter so everyone should look to main event him.

That's actually my error. I misquoted an article. If you take away championship losses, Sonnen is 12-1 since 2006. With Maia being his sole non-title fight loss.

The point was that Sonnen isn't some bum. Considering how great everyone thinks Silva and Jones are, people certainly use those losses to label Chael a hack.

1 million sounds good. Still allows me to do the OU Challenge that I like to do if I do lose.

I can see why you would think that about some people but that is not the case with me. IMO more people overrate him for his performance vs Spider in the 1st fight. I have said many times I consider him a top 5 MW and even as high as #3. Which is far from a scrub. I just don't think he anywhere close to being a ranked LHW. But IMO Chael has done nothing to suggest he is. Ever.

Well, he was technically 30 seconds away from winning the LHW championship
