Great fight. Would pick Alves but his absence makes it very even.

The fact that he chokes under pressure and hasn't fought in over a year make this a winnable fight for Brown. Just looking at their skills Thiago should murder him but he should also do that to Rick Story and Jon Fitch yet he doesn't because he chokes when his opponent constantly pressures him.

Matt made me a fan his last fight but still rooting for my boy Alves here. Should be an easy win for Alves but the layoff has me a bit nervous.

Funny, I was about to say that he's been inconsistent. So, I just C&P. It's too bad though cuz Alves is a dope Muay Thai practitioner with "potential." Then again so did Harold Miner aka Baby Jordan.

Alves has trouble with wrestlers. Can't see Brown winning the stand up even being the taller. Yet, its a long time not fighting. That counts. I like Brown very much, but the edgy root will go for the Pit Bull.

Brown has this as long as he keeps the pressure. Alves doesn't fight well when backing up.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.
