Weidman is a nice guy. I liked his interview. But realistically, wrestling is all he has against Anderson and after such that layoff? Troubling. He may be a high level wrestler and have a good grappling game, better BJJ than Sonnen, but he kept standing against Maia as Davis kept standing against Vinny. Anderson has a solid and still underrated BJJ. He tapped great grapplers when he was forced to the ground. Unless his age shows up of a sudden, Anderson should take this.
Anyway, Weidman could be a very nice 185 champion replacement if this is to happen. Very likable person and a great sportsman.

How can you define speed with ANderson? He dodges punches with ease and can hits people effortlessly. To me he's ridiculously fast.

Yea, don't understand. Not sure who in the UFC at 185 or higher that would be considered faster than him, other than maybe Machida.

I have to agree that Anderson is incredibly quick today, even if he has slowed since his early days. Andy's reflxes are just intense and that plays a big factor into being fast.

It will go both ways. Weidman loses then it will only be because of his time off.

I see this fight going like the Henderson one where people will throwing out the age old argument of "he was winning until he lost"

His hand speed has never really been that fast but his reflexes and explosiveness are exceptional
