Lorenzo Fertitta at UFC events

while the fights are going on I always see him in the background on his cellphone watching the fights and talking to someone as he is watching the fights .. anyone else find this a bit strange and suspicious

Nope not at all...

The Fertitas probably have someone they have to talk to EVERY SINGLE DAY. And seeing as how they own the UFC i am sure when an event is taking place those priorities go up 20 fold.

That's pretty much the norm for major CEO's. They have money/business driven lives that are in a lot of ways something to envy, but the truth is the hours they spend "working" are likely 3 times that of most of us.

I don't know if it's necessarily the norm, I see Howard Stern in Postseason Games for example, and I've never seen him talking on his cell. I don't think it's fishy either, though. Just a different approach to management.

He's calling in the fix so he knows who needs to win.

It seems very fishy to me, it's almost like he has business outside of the UFC. It makes me wonder if the Fertita's may own other companies that are no part of the UFC. Someone needs to look into this most rikki tikki.

Not fishy at all, besides, everyone knows DFW has a little red button under his seat known as the Dana White Button.
