UFC signs European heavyweights Daniel Omielanczuk and Nikita Krylov

The UFC has signed European heavyweights Daniel Omielanczuk and Nikita Krylov to multi-fight deals.

A UFC official confirmed the signings with MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). Polish site mmarocks.pl and BloodyElbow.com first reported the signings.

Terms of the deals and potential debut dates were not disclosed.

Omielanczuk (15-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC), a 30-year-old Polish fighter, enters the organization with an 11-fight win streak that includes eight submission victories.

Most of Omielanczuk's fights have come with smaller European shows, where he's faced mostly overmatched and largely inexperienced fighters. He'll get a big step up in competition with his move to the UFC.

Krylov (14-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC), meanwhile, is a 20-year-old Ukrainian fighter. He's racked up a staggering and unblemished 14-0 record with 14 stoppages (five knockouts and nine submissions) in less than nine months.

All of Krylov's wins have come in the first round, including his M-1 Challenge 38 knockout of Gabriel Tampu this past month.

Krylov sounds like a beast, I'll be interested to see him in the UFC. Undefeated with all 14 wins coming by first round finishes over a 9 month span is absurd, you literally can't be better on paper.

Figured they would look Krylovs way sooner then later. HW is to thin for that kind of streak not to pay off. Omielanczuk is a mystery to me though.

Yeah but his video could be better. I'll have to look for more, but I was more excited for the undefeated Stipe Miocic then this guy.

Yes, that video wasn't too impressive. There shouldn't be too many UFC fighters who wouldn't not exploit that giving his back.

Karlos Vemola was undefeated with all wins coming in the first round, but look where he is now.

That's true about Vemola, but Marks and Carmont are looking pretty solid these days and Vemola is fighting a whole 60 pounds lighter just three fights after his debut.

14 finishes in 9 months for someone who is 20 years old? No-brainer to sign, even if his competition is weak. Unless you're fighting random people on the street, that's pretty damn impressive inside the cage. Hopefully these guys or someone can breath some life into the division.

He looks like he'll get destroyed (based that purely off of the one video)
