Chuck / Rampage - Who Really Knows?

Both fighters have tremendous strengths and have some weaknesses that make them both a strong possibility to win.

However, we all know that only one can win and there have been numerous threads stating the varying opinions.

Sure, everybody has there favorite and it only makes sense to pull for the fighter you like the best but can we try and be as objective as possible.

Chuck has devastating knockout power. Rampage has unbelievable cardio and is very tenacious.

I think we can see a fight that goes into the 3rd or 4th round...but it'll largely depend on how the 1st round goes...if chuck hurts rampage then rampage is in big trouble...but if nothing really happens, i'd have to say rampage's chances improve greatly...and if he can land a big slam ...ooo...

I think chuck will win...but with whats been happening, your right, no one can tell

Both have so much knock out power they will both try to end it quick to not risk getting caught. One mistake and this could be over. But at the same time these are guys that really need more than one good punch to get knocked out. This is gonna be one heck of a fight.

In my eyes its just waaay to close to call. You jsut never know with Rampage, and Chuck comes to the octagon ready to bang. should be a great fight.

Favourite fighters:

1. Mirko Cro Cop
2. Rampage Jackson
3. Chuck Liddell
4. Anderson Silva
5. Mark Hunt

this fight depends how rampage comes in. if his boxing is up to where it was last time they fought, chuck could be in for another world of hurt, if it isn't Rampage will have to find a way to get chuck down and keep him there. knowing what a freak of nature Quinton is it is definatly possible that he could keep chuck down where others couldn't. in any event it will be a good fight

What really sucks is no matter who wins, we have to wait at least a year for a rematch.
This is one fight I really want to see and hope it goes almost to the distance. No matter who wins, I don't see this being a boring fight. It should be a war!
Rampage has to keep Chuck on the ground if he can get him there. Chuck uses the cage as good as anyone and better than most. Both guys have KO power, but you never know what angle it's coming from with Chuck.
Liddell - Ko in 2.

what do you mean? this fight is the rematch to the fight they had in pride almost 4 years ago. if Rampage wins, no need for a rematch. if chuck wins we defiantly need a trilogy

I think Chuck will win because he has become such and intense counter puncher as of late, and he has some insane patience to sit back and wait for you to come to him, but corners you off in the ring at the same time. He forces you to feel like you have to swing at him and then BAM! I also think Rampage is still getting used to the cage and will have some problem with Chucks "take down defense" a la grabbing the cage and just standing up I love the guy but man does he blatantly cheat sometimes.

But I think if Rampage can get a big slam in and land some good shots it make put some doubt in Chuck's mind and that would be his best shot at a win.

I have been doing a lot of Chuck bashing going into this fight and I really am pulling for Rampage, but this is a very close fight. It really does depend on what kind of game Rampage and Chuck bring to the octagon (more so Rampage). I think of the major keys to victory is aggression. The guy who is more aggressive, will control this fight. Each one has to be technical, throwing punches wildly is just gonna be more chances for the other to get a very mean punch in. If Rampage comes with the same aggression he came into the first fight in he will win. This is not a fight Chuck can look for the counter 1 punch KO, he is gonna have to be aggressive to win.

If Chuck wins there will more than likely be a rubber match. If Rampage wins, Dana is gonna give his golden boy another shot.
