I'm sure we would see some Quebec flags, to support GSP, but nothing wrong with that.

At MMAweekly, it states that St. Pierre and Koscheck will be fighting, but not against each other. I tend to believe MMAweekly since they are usually right, but who knows. I thought it was odd that Sanchez had to fight Koscheck because Sanchez was so close to a title shot and losing to Koscheck (which he did) would set him back a lot.

Now technically, Koscheck should be close to a #1 contender (after Hughes) or if not THE #1 contender. If he does fight St. Pierre, this kind of screws Koscheck over if he loses to him. St. Pierre immediately goes from being at the near bottom of the ladder to top spot again. These match-ups screw everyone over.

P.S. Although a win over St. Pierre for Koscheck would solidify his #1 contender spot.

I thought this at first too, but it's also been said that Serra vs. Hughes will be held in either November or December, (cause of the god damn ultimate fighter 6 finale), so it doesn't look like hughes has any time to fight GSP this year, he'll be filming the ultimate fighter 6 and then he'll fight serra in November or December and the year is over.

As do I but this clip from ufcjunkie.com "White announced that [Matt] Serra will join Matt Hughes as a competing coach on the next season of Spike TV’s “The Ultimate Fighter” reality series — which begins shooting this Spring for a Fall broadcast — and predicted that St. Pierre would likely face Josh Koscheck in the interim." ....leads me to believe there is a very good chance they will be fighting eachother.

It wouldn't be the first time mmaweekly.com has posted two guys as fighting "tba" and then they end up fighting eachother. Last time I can remember is when Liddell and Rampage were listed to be fighting "Tba" at UFC 71...and now they are fighting eachother, I hope the same happens to GSP and Kos.

Apparently, Dana has said that Koshcheck vs St.Pierre is going to happen and will most likely be at UFC 74, which also features Gonzaga's title fight with Randy. Now the even more interesting part (mainly for us Canadians) is that Dana also said the the UFC is coming to Canada (again) soon, and if St.Pierre is fighting at UFC 74....well Dana did say St.Pierre would defintly be on the card if it was in Canada, so it seems like UFC 74 could possibly be in Canada....anyways I just thought I'd share my theory because I'm sure the rest of the Canadians on here (myself included) can not wait for a UFC to be here EH?
Well shit. I always wanted to visit Canada. Im going to UFC 71. And I pretty much decided to go see Randy defend his title no matter who it was against or where it was. Ill hvae to be sure to hook up with some of my Canadian brothers from here on the forum.

Quebec would be the most logical, AND fun place to hold the event. The venues there are fairly spacious, and I'm sure the crowd would BE DEAFENING. It's hard to compare a sports entertainment (pro wrestling) crowd to an MMA crowd, but the events they hold in Canada, and Quebec are always crazy. Quebec is just an awesome place, and I wouldn't think twice about travelling from Ontario to see a UFC.

Great news.
