Jason Miller says the UFC pretended to pay for his Knee surgery.

Jason “Mayhem” Miller is not happy with his former employer.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship released Miller after he lost to C.B. Dollaway via decision at UFC 146: Dos Santos vs. Mir in May 2012. He retired from mixed martial arts soon afterward.
The 32-year-old revealed to “The MMA Hour” on Monday that he was set to have surgery on his left knee. He hurt his knee during his fight with Dollaway. Miller said the UFC was going to take care of the surgery through its insurance. Unfortunately for Miller, his coverage expired when the promotion let the process drag on. Miller said that it was part of his former bosses plans.
“(The UFC) pretended they were going to give me the surgery and they started acting like they were going to fix my leg,” Miller said on “The MMA Hour.” “I went back and they dragged it out until my insurance coverage expired. So now I can’t get my knee fixed.”
Miller still hasn’t received surgery on his knee and said that he has learned to deal with the pain. The estimated cost for his surgery is more than $50,000.
“If you’re walking around with no ACL for one year, Kobe Bryant is a [expletive],” Miller said on “The MMA Hour.” “I’m walking like the hunchback of Notre Dame over here. That’s the big problem, right? I’m hurting, but I got so used to ignoring pain over my entire life from doing the job that I did. And I bet it’s a bit of genetics because my dad’s done the same thing, then, try to walk through the pain, whatever. Then your foot swells up like a watermelon. Try to work out hard? Nope!”
Aside from his knee pain, Miller said that he’s really enjoying his life and does not plan to return to MMA.

Not quiet sure what to think. I hope the UFC would not do such a thing but who knows. I would not be surprised if Miller was just too stupid to get it done properly and on time.

MTV doesn't give it's talent health insurance?

I'd like to hear something from someone not insane but yeah I'm going to remember this one. If someone comes out with the UFC doing the same thing it'll be an exposure.

I bet it's partially true, and the other side of the story is that he was a whiny asshole to his bosses and they figured why help him out when he was such a prick. Sort of like Rampage, you bring negativity and hatred to the organization and nobody's going to want to help

Mayhem's insane. I wouldn't take anything he says with anything more than a pinch of salt.

I thought this sounded familiar.

I didn't get one [surgery]. ...you know, I went and got an MRI, it was kind of a hassle, they kept rescheduling for some reason, then I finally got the MRI. I make an appointment, I go all the way to L.A., an hour and a half in traffic, I go to a doctor and he said 'I don't have your MRI's. Did they give you a disc?' No, why would they give me a disc? There's this new thing out, doc, I don't know if you've heard of it, it's called the internet. You can just send things. I'll let you sign into my Dropbox account.

And I knew what the deal was immediately. And I said it and he gave an 'affirmative' with his silence. So...when they don't need you anymore they just toss you out...they just give you a runaround until you give up on that knee surgery.

Some people think that they can convey either a philosophy on life or a complex political statement using a signature on the internet. I'm not one of them.
