Whose brother? I hope you aren't talking about Sergio Pettis. That kid is still very young and very raw. Long ways away from competing against the top level flys.

He is 19 and has 7 wins of 7 fights; his next fight with Jeff Curran will step him up a level in competition. If he handles that fight as I think he will he should be on your horizon.

I have seen 3 of his fights. He isn't bad, but he isn't near ready for the UFC. IMO Curran will likely beat him. So if he wins that then I'll start to get on board. But from what I have seen, he isn't ready for the big leagues.

You are right he needs grooming, and he needs another 3 fights after this one to hit the UFC. Personally he needs to lose one of those to learn that aspect. The only fighter that does not learn from defeat is one who you will not remeber.

Yeah I think 3 more fights or so sound about right. He is a pretty small guy, even looks small for a fly. He does have some talent for sure. I saw him get in a bit of trouble and come on strong in one of his fights, which is a good sign. His next fight will be on TV again so I'll check it out for sure.
