Mark Hunt in the UFC

I think he would be another Great addition to the HW div, which if you guys have noticed is getting pretty good now. You mine as well go where the better fighters are. Its crazy this time last year we did nothing but rag on the UFC HW div. Now Pride is the org with a deflating division. If Fedor doesnt stay, all they got is Barnett, Fujita, Hunt, Thompson, etc. I'd love to watch hunt bang it out with, AA, Vera, Sylvia, Gonzaga...He is a great personality, I think the american fans would like him alot. thoughts?

I really like Hunt but id rather him stay with pride, i dont want any more people coming over to the UFC. Hunt vs AA/Sylvia would be awesome though

Prides HW div is going to be kind of bad soon though. Especially if Fedor decides to fight exclusivly for Bodog. There are alot of good match ups in UFC for Mark. There is another thread where we were talking about the fights getting boring. I had mentioned how having certain guys in there will force the action. Mark is one of those guys. There wouldnt be any Tap and Slap boxing matches with AA and Hunt. If AA didnt mix it up and get after Mark a bit, MArk will Definetly bring the fight to him. Same with Sylvia. Thats what most of us want to see. A fighter that gets in there and goes for it. Thats Hunt all day.

Thats true but what happens when there is a big Pride vs UFC superbowl and there are no HW's in Pride? Not very fun. I think Pride should keep Hunt, Fedor, Barnett, Thompson, Aleksander, Fujita, etc so they have a decent division

Thats a good point. Hopefully that actually do that. Id like to see Hunt fight someone from the UFC whether he is Champ or not though.

You have to leave Hunt in PRIDE. They have already lost 3 of their top HW in the last half a year. No need for them to switch Hunt over too. He can fight some UFC HW at one of the MMA "superbowl" events that Dana has been talking about.

Bringing over fighters from PRIDE to the UFC needs to stop. Why would you water down a product when you control them both?

Eventually all big name fighters and their money fights will take place in the UFC, that's what I'm predicting anyways. I know Big Nog was working out a contract for awhile, before the merger, but when I saw him come out I knew then that whatever assets Pride had would be going to the UFC. I love Mark Hunt though, man this guy would be huge in the states.

Is Hunt going to have to weigh in at 265 if there are any Pride Vs. UFC matchups? I don't think it would be a big problem for him and might actually help his game to slim down a little.
