Anderson Silva Storms Out Of Training After Ko'ing His Training Partner..

n the final stretch of training for the long-awaited title defense against Chris Weidman, on the 6th of July in Las Vegas, the sparring workouts of Champion Anderson Silva are on fire. Scheduled to travel Los Angeles on Saturday (22), where he should make his last week of training, Anderson is back to old form. Just ask his teammates from X-Gym, who helped Spider to make five rounds.

As usual, the champion moved a lot, let his guard down and allowed a few hits enter to simulate an unfavorable situation, he recovered in time to dominate the action and win the round.

Even requiring all the fighters at sparring to use shin guards and head guards, the Spider could not avoid an incident in the last round, when he landed a kick to the head of the partner who get knocked out.

Worried, Anderson immediately stopped the training to help the partner. The fellow came to himself, but Anderson, visibly upset, stoped his workout immediately and went to the locker room. "He hates it when these fatalities happen with teammates, so he left upset and didn't even spoke with Minotauro, who came here today to watch his training," said coach Ramon Lemos.:thumb03:

I like to be consumed by the media hype as much as the next guy.... but deep in my heart, I think you're right.

I have no interest in seeing Anderson lose... it would sort of be the ending of an era. He just seems too good still for that to happen though.

I really hope Anderson mops the floor with this kid! At least to make him an example to others :)

I could watch that all day...Thing of beauty.

And remember Forrest was the one that was too big and was gonna keep coming forward and never give up. Then a couple jabs and an anchor punch later and he was tapping to strikes followed by running out of the Octagon.

I for one believe Weidman poses a very legitimate threat. It is also in these conditions where we see artistry at work.

I will be glued to the PPV screen come July 6th. Nothing else matters.

Andy is a guy with a big family sense when it comes to his training partners.
He must have stayed really pissed with all this KO'ing his partner situation.
Hopefully won't avoid his concentration for the final part of the training camp...

Silva knows how to roll with punches better then anyone in the history in MMA.

You throw that on top of how hard he is to hit standing, and that's why I don't think he will ever be KO'D.

what a legend this guy is, still in peak condition, looks like he's ready for battle. Very seldom it happens where someone follows their path of natural aspiration and reaches their absolute potential, can't wait to see if he can beat Weidman and Jones and go down as the undisputed GOAT.

The real beating happened after that training partner got up and said: "Hey Andy, I was just kidding..."
