That's a shitty attitude. It is a MMA fighter retired at age 29 trying to start a local promotion, just like the many local promotions around the globe. He is offering a free stream, and probably more or less risking money out of his own pocket.

Only names I recognize are Daniel Roberts and Clayton McKinney. I'll probably tune in for a fight or two to see what it's like. It would be amazing if Diaz was one of the announcers.

Will make predictions for credits. Please, I'm so broke.

Gotta agree. I'll stream it and will definitely donate something just because I have the option to watch it for free. At least it's an attempt by a BIG name fighter to start another promotion and with more and more people trying their hand at MMA, that's not a bad thing.

If he was smart, he would keep it as a small tear organization, and not actually try to compete with the UFC. Lots of people might tune in because it's Nick Diaz, but most of his profit might only come from diehard fans.

The signed glove idea isn't a bad gamble IMO.

But what will be unique about the venture is that fans not in attendance can purchase an online stream of the event for a price they set themselves. Or for nothing at all.
Its a nice gesture but how does he plan on keeping this show running if he lets the fans set their own price.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Also, the stream isn't working. Either something went wrong or Nick Diaz just Andy Kauffman'ed us all...

I spoke to soon, it just started working.

After watching that hilarious Mayhem Miller interview, I wonder how that would be.
