Fight Master more polished then TUF so far

Have to say after seeing the second episode of Bellators show its definitely a lot more entertaining then the early episodes in the TUF series'. The last few seasons those episodes of TUF have been pretty boring, and I've almost been waiting for them to end, but Fight Master definitely maintained my interest.

The choosing of coach is a nice addition, and the music creates a lot more suspense for the fights.

Only thing is though the ratings for the first episode were under 1mil viewers which is pretty poor, so maybe Bellator are flogging a dead horse with this series.

I watched both episodes last night. I actually like the format so far. Having 4 coaches is very interesting and having the fighters pick a coach i think is good as well.
It's great when a fighter can gauge whether a coach actually wants him on the team. I find it interesting enough for now to keep watching it. As a matter of fact, I find it more interesting so far than any of the TUF season for the last 4 years.

Favorite fighters:

1. Connor Mcgregor
2. Joanna jedrzejczyk
3. Anthony Pettis
4. Ronda Rousey

I think the general consensus among MMA fans is that these reality shows have run their course and just aren't interesting any more. The drama seems manufactured, the title seems meaningless, and the level of fighting is so much lower than it is at the top of the game.

Ratings will continue to fall domestically until they stop saturating us with content.

TUF: Jones vs. Sonnen was a tremendous season and ought to have been the series finale. It was well produced, well coached, and it featured some solid talent. That and the focus was less on cheesy dramatics and more on the fighters themselves - skills, abilities, training, and fighting. It had a raw, documentary type feel to it, which was refreshing.

Now, we have TUF: Rousey vs. Tate, which I fear is going to end up like Big Brother - which I've never watched and never will for obvious reasons. The UFC had a good thing going with TUF 17, but it doesn't seem to know when to call it quits with this reality show. I would rather it have ended on a high note.

I've not watched Fight Master as our area recently lost Spike. Though I've been thinking about downloading/streaming them just to get a taste of what Bellator's version of reality television is like.

TUF is the best way to introduce new talent. So its not just about how high of the rating we can get. They basically use that show to bring in new talent. I dont think it should ever go away. And the Bellator show is just the VOICE meets MMA. I will watch cause im a MMA fan and I will watch anthing they put on free TV MMA related.

I like the fights and the drama. But I also like Jersey shore and Teen MOM for some reason my GF got me hooked on that shit. I did think in season 9 or 10 when they pissed in the fruit that was pretty funny. Also the upper decker was funny as well. So I think its good to have a mix of focus on training and fighting and on the silly fun stuff also.
