Man I hope you're right. Though respect for Silva's skills is something I can't deny him. He is the best P4P on the planet. I think Weidman may have the recipe for defeating him, but can't be dogmatic.

Please don't say anything bad about GSP. This forum is filled with his delusional fans who defend him on anything and everything.

Condit is as tall as Anderson and Edgar dropped down straight for Aldo's belt. You make the weight, you are in. That is the only black and white rule that ever was.

Enough with this pathetic trolling nonsense. UFC officially WANTED Jones full camp to fight someone Anderson had beaten twice already, an over the hill underframed185 counting with one old M.O. and one M.O. only (a M.O. that composes just one part of the 205 champion arsenal and which himself masters like no one in the octagon), coming from a loss and little time to prepare, someone everybody knew had virtually no chance of even scratching Jones and what the mighty "GOAT to be" did? He DUCKED. He officially DUCKED. Plain and simple. And with this attitude, he was responsible for an entire event to be cancelled for the first time in UFC history. That surpasses Abu Dhabi by three Milky Ways spans at least.

There is historical UFC daylight bright evidence Jones ducked someone in UFC and you and your brave face come here with your selective memory rants insinuating Anderson would duck Jones if the UFC really wanted them to fight. Cool story.

End of my own rant.

Every fighter has their delusional fans that worship virtually every idiotic thing they do. Now if Jones started taunting Silva to move up and fight him they'd have a fit a cry foul and wonder why Jones isn't calling out Velasquez instead. It's just the nature of the beast.

BJ Penn would gladly have fought Silva if he beat GSP 2

Fighting for the sake of PPV and having a chance to win are two different things.

I agree with whoever posted that there are weight classes for a reason.

GSP is the best at his weight class. Silva is the best at his. JBJ is the best LHW. Easy stuff to understand until someone beats them at their home.

I'm not quite sure why we need to see the best of the best jump classes to face each other. Sure... the PPV would be huge. But what does it really do for the sport? Ruin legacies? I'd much prefer to see a MW challenger beat the champion at some point rather than see a great MW champion fall to a LHW champion. What does that mean? I mean really...

And just one day later he says this:

"My opinion is this: I'll fight Jon Jones, all the guys from my class, all the guys that work in the UFC – all the fighters. I respect all the fighters. I respect Jon Jones. I respect Chris Weidman, but I'm here for working. I'm not scared of Jon Jones, of Chris Weidman or whoever. I'm here to fight. That's it. It's simple."

Trollin us as usual IMO.
