Just stop, you've been embarrassing yourself repeatedly since the loss with your butthurt, delusion and conspiracy theories. Yes Silva got tooled, on the ground, lost a round, fooled around, got KOd and got followed up with not one but many punches.

Could he have done better if he stayed humble and focused? Probably. But that could be said FOR ANY MAN ALIVE. ANY ONE can ALWAYS do better IF they do things the right way. What counts is that he DIDN'T. It was visible for a while now. And yes, he got crap beat out of him. Unconscious, head bouncing off the canvas, ref pulling off beat up. It doesn't get too much worse than that.

Also Chael Sonnen beat Anderson much worse the first time than Condit beat GSP. Condit lost the decision remember? GSP bled a bit, but he was clearly winning. Silva was beat the hell up for 4.5 rounds and clearly losing until the hail mary.

We're not talking about a catchweight fight here.

Take away Jon Jones massive size advantage, shrink him down to a Welterweight the same size as GSP, or you take GSP and enlarge him into a 205 JBJ sized beast.
Who would win?

I would say GSP would win 9 outta 10 times just for being the strategist that he is. That and he's more experienced. More knowledge overall. Both are freakish athletes.
listen this was just ridiculous. guys play to their strengths and advantages etc, what are you on about about shrinking them?

Jones is P4P #1 now for sure. I hope Gustafsson knocks Jones out though.

Duh, thats what P4P actually means. Take away any size difference, who is the better fighter. The only way to do that Is to place them inside a fantasy world and make them the same size. Who is the best P4P fighter if all size issues are taken away. P4P has nothing to do with who is on the best winning streak in their division which seems to be the norm around here.

I think it's common knowledge that P4P hasn't got anything to do with weight.

Which is why it doesn't make sense to begin with.

GSP is p4p now, and that is that. Jones is a great fighter, but has not been defending the belt as long as GSP has. Plus GSP has been in some wars and did not have the luxury of having a wrestling background before he entered MMA.

He dominates wrestlers with his own wrestling because he works extroadanairily hard compared to other fighters. If you read about GSP, you'll find how he is always looking to reinvent himself with training techniques and unique mental discipline focuses.

Who else would take up the courage to study gymnastics and apply it to MMA??? I always knew this having been a gymnast for many years, and I believe it is the reason as to why I do well in my BJ J camp, but no other fighter has the courage or intelligence to think outside of the box except GSP.

He only weigh trains his lower body and does various bodyweight stuff for his upperbody because he came to the logical conclusion that upperbody strength development does NOT require weights, unlike the naturally powerful glutes, thighs and hamstring muscles.

GSP is impossibly intelligent, kind, caring and athletic. Jones is great athletically and has good size that he uses to his advantage, but that is it. When Jones is defending the belt at 32, then we can talk about p4p.

Honestly i still have Anderson in my number 1 spot, but i view P4P differently i guess then many

I dont put any weight in win loss ratio's ect. I take the ranking literally and go by who pound for pound is the best skilled fighter. with that mind set i put everyone at the same weight and picture who would win if they went all out. Doing that i still have Silva winning that, then gsp and i honestly dont have bones up there (which is weird i know but for some reason i cant get my mind to picture him winning in my minds scenarios.

To each their own though as p4p means different things to different people and no ones list is more right then anothers

I think it's Jones now as well.

While it may seem unfair to have him above GSP, the reason I do is because Jones has been so dominating, so brutal, so and convincing in his wins.

Not to take anything away from GSP; he's amazing. I'm just less impressed by his performances because he cannot ever finish a guy. Jones has the wrestling to take guys down and smother them as well but, unlike GSP, Jones is not satisfied with that. He uses his wrestling as a means to an end of the fight. He has the killer instinct, and when he sees an opening, he goes for it and finishes. GSP does not. He plays it safe. Nothing really wrong with it - why put yourself in a situation where you may lose; I get that. Still.

GSP and Jones both dominate. Difference is Jones uses his domination to get the finish. That, to me, negates the difference in time between the two as far as their respective reigns.
