UFC officials on Friday announced the news. Details of the precise nature of Koscheck's injury were not revealed. The card now will go on with 12 scheduled fights instead of 13.

Being that Kos is ranked 10th and is coming off of a KO loss, Maia wouldn't really gain anything from beat him.

Sucks the top 4 guys are already tied up in fights. He's either going to have to wait one out and fight someone below him again.

Fight made no sense.

As Ive said a thousand times before Maia vs Tarec for top contendership. Put it on 166 or 167.

The fight made no sense anyway. Give Maia someone comming off a win, not two losses.
