The guy has fought once in the UFC, looked bad in beating a can, and hadnt beaten anyone worthwhile in a long time leading up to that. Mousasi is the LHW version of the Reem, everyone thinks he has some amazing potential, but he hasnt done a single thing to deserve the hype.
How did he look bad? He fought injured, had nothing to win and everything to gain, lighted Latifi up on the feet and showed his great striking. It was a very good performance.

Yes, please.

And Weidman vs Vitor for the next no.1 contender.

Never really came close to finishing a no name can. I don't know if I would really use that as a testament to his greatness.

This is a sick matchup of skills with 2 high level guys. 2 champs. 2 well respected MMA fighters of the world.

Get out of here with "what has Mousasi done" crap. How about he has shown he is a very skilled fighter and a big name especially in hardcore circles. How about this is 2 high level strikers with good ground games?

Get out of here with your he doesn't deserve it crap. Can't stand that shit.
Absolutely. Vitor's not going to get a shot at the champ any earlier then late 2014 unless Weidman does the impossible and beats Anderson again, which I doubt he will. So to keep busy this would be an awesome fight for him and the fans. For those of us that have followed mma since 91 this fight makes perfect sense.
