Glover Teixera to get LHW title shot with "big"win

Quote:
If he beats Ryan Bader...

Glover Teixeira appears to be headed for a chance at the UFC light heavyweight title if he can pick up a win next month. Marshall Zelaznik said during the post-UFC 163 press conference that Teixeira would likely earn a title shot if he beats Ryan Bader at UFC Fight Night 28.

"Dana and Joe have confirmed with a strong victory by Glover that he probably gets the winner of the Jon Jones fight," Zelaznik said. "Glover's got an opportunity to go for that belt with a big win, so we're expecting big things in Belo Horizonte."

UFC Fight Night 28 takes place on September 4th in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Jones will next face Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 165.
The real question is who gets the shot if he loses

I imagine they'd do Bader vs Davis for the next shot if Glover loses.

The real question is, why should anyone believe this for one second? Nothing is set in stone ladies get used to it.

Glover gets the title shot anyway because Bones has tooled everyone else. Vitor would probably get a title shot, in brazil of course, this year too. Shouldn't though. Cant defend the title in Brazil only

Ain't this the truth. If Tex gets the win and somehow the fight is boring as all hell I could easily see DW creating another #1 title contender fight.
