How does anyone Plan on watching Fox Sports 1?

So with no TV deals yet in place for Direct TV, Dish Network, Time Warner or many major cable companies as of today, I bring up the question everyone seems to be avoiding. "How the hell are we supposed to watch this programming with no deals in place.

Dish Network and Direct-TV knows nothing. I've called them twice a week and have gotten no where.

I'm really starting to think I'm not going to have this channel for awhile due to politics. It's a damn a shame.

BTW... This is all over the internet news, Google... I guess I could have posted a link (reference). But there are so many of them I didn't know which one to post.

I imagine it will air on SportsNet in Canada, which acquired the rights to air all UFC events.

I was thinking the same thing. But I scrolled through my guide and found shogun v Sonnen on speed. I have uverse though. So its possible dish is going to be different. I find it more likely they just don't know what's going on and a search of their provided channels didn't bring back a fox sports 1.

Right now I don't plan on watching it on my TV because things are messed up. No deal in place with my provider right now.

Check this out:

As Speed's move to Fox Sports 1 looms, so do serious carriage problems

Sporting News Story..
It's a NASCAR article but relevant to people looking to actually watch Fox Sports One on their tv package. Directv, Time Warner and Dish Network have no deal with Fox Sports a week out.

I've been seeing stories like this for a over a month in other sports stories like college football and soccer, but this is getting close again with the cable stuff.

I was looking at the cable package I have now and I have speed but not fuel. The way it sound form stuff later in the article, the package that will get FS1 is gonna be the next option up.

They need to figure it out though, it's supposed to be going down at mi casa that night for the fights. I'd rather crisp cable HD, and a good creek would probably be harder to come by if there were 50 million less options to potentially to one.

The Dish guide stills shows up as Speed channel on the 17th, with no UFC event. It shows the Shogun vs Sonnen fight playing on Fuel on Sunday.

The last I read Dish still has made no deal with FOX on the sports channels. Apparently they want quite a bit more to run FOX Sports 1 than they did to run Speed.

Not sure if I will be able to watch it or not.

Yeah, if you get speed, that doesn't mean you get FS1 unless your provider has struck a deal with Fox Sports.

Quote:
Speed is in nearly 86 million homes, but millions of its current subscribers won’t be able to see Fox Sports 1 unless a carriage deal is finalized.

DirecTV has 20 million subscribers, Time Warner Cable serves 14.6 million customers and Dish has 14 million subscribers. Not all of those subscribers pay for packages that include Speed (and would include Fox Sports 1), but those are three of the largest television providers in the country.

According to the SportsBusiness Journal, Speed costs about 23 cents each month per subscriber, and Fox is looking to increase that to 80 cents per month.
That is a lot of homes with speed who right now won't get FS1 until the lawyers bash it out.
