In the UFC era they didnt seem that close anymore and wouldnt speak of each other compared to the Pride days. I noticed recently they have become close again and probably sorted out whatever issue that happened.
The extent of their falling out was Silva and the Rua's not being together or around each other as much anymore, it was never based on any genuine animosity at least that I ever once heard of, other then the puppy story but that is an old one.

Wanderlei was establishing his new company in Vegas, Murilo and Mauricio were doing the same for their new gym in Curitiba. They were all still buds that I always knew, you still had Silva talking about Shogun in 2009 and 2010 in interviews specifically praising him or saying Silva-like stuff: "Shogun used to want to be like me, now I want to be like Shogun". Is there something else?

I like MMA less because of this forum

TRT doesn't just people magic fighting abilities or super strength, it's simply a hormone equalizer, I do not understand the controversy surround this.

When your levels are out of whack because you have much more testosterone in your system, which is a very real possibility with TRT, it's much easier to bulk up/train harder.

...Honestly, I would love to see Shogun throw a Muay Thai blitz of knees, kicks, elbows & punches until he catches Sonnen and puts him out completely cold...ice cube cold. I just wanna see Chael get put totally asleep for once but it won't happen. No matter how hard Shogun works on his wrestling, Sonnen is gonna own Shogun badly from the top position and just maul him. Rua should be focusing on his submissions bigtime. Trying to improve your wrestling to compete with Chael is just a bad plan. I see Shogun on his back for the majority of the fight if he doesn't get any sweeps or hip escapes. This should go the distance too. Shogun is so difficult to finish. If Rua can't pull off a submission on Chael, I'd say UD for Sonnen...
