Nothing wrong with a confident fighter but Benson is jumping the gun by a considerable margin. He's got a long way to go.

How? I don't even see him as champ, in my opinion, he didn't beat Frankie Edgar.

As you guys can see, I'm still bitter because those decisions went to him.

With these SD wins he's leaving it close to the mark. If Pettis doesn't kill his dream, then a rematch with Melendez will.

I think I agree. Melendez & Edgar both won in my opinion. You can never leave it to the judges though.

this is not new, i remember henderson saying this shortly after winning the title, he stated this as his goal, wants to be the best and that meant more title defences than silva. is it realistic? i dont know, but hes been mentioning it for a while.

Neither did enough to beat the champ, the challenger must be ahead a lot more convincingly for the title to exchange hands. Close does'nt quite cut it.

Except in the first Edgar fight? I think Bendo will beat Pettis, but I felt he lost both times to Frankie, and to Gil but they were close

All were very good and close fights but Benson did more in all three.

So when does he plan on beating the champion and starting his reign?
