Pettis vs Hendo III or Pettis vs Aldo (Champ vs Champ)

First off big Props for bendo taking this fight & being a respected champ truly didn't deserve the boos. After tonights main event results are you guys excited more for Pettis vs Hendo III or Pettis vs Aldo (Champion vs Champion2)??

Why big props for Beondo for taking this fight? :confused02:

They both have some contenders on their division lined up, let them finish business in there first.

But, Aldo over Bendo. Pettis is 2-0 against Bendo with an effortless (seemingly) sub just last night so a rematch is the last thing we should think about.

TJ Grant

Pettis vs Aldo. Ben doesn't deserve the third fight yet.

YOUgotTKO 09-01-2013 04:50 AM

Because he could of dodge Pettis & waited for TJ Grant to healed like some champs in other division would have and yes styles makes fights and I think with all bendo has done a rematch would be nice but also a possible champ vs champ 2 will bring in money and can see it happening super bowl weekend!!

Pettis vs Aldo, Pettis vs Melendez or even Pettis vs Alvarez.

TJ Grant won the right to face Benson Henderson, he is not the top ranked fighter in the LW division he was just next in line for Henderson cleaning out the division.

Grant needs another win to truly be the number one contender now...hell give him Benson Henderson I'm sure the championship hangover is going to be in effect for him.

I'm interested in seeing what would have happened in the later rounds. Don't want to see the rubber match just yet.

It's not a rubber match when it's 2-0 bro, just a trilogy. It needs to be 1-1 for a rubber match.

I'm more excited for Aldo-Pettis too, a striking war which I see Aldo taking. Bendo was never a very dominant or exciting champ and he's down 2-0 right now so a third fight seems pointless ATM unless he schools some top LWs and makes a big case for it.

Why would there be Pettis/Bendo 3? Pettis beat him twice and that's that.

Pettis vs Guida II.

1. It keeps in line with the trend of moving up a weight class for a title shot after a loss.

2. Pettis lost to a gatekeeper, this blemish has to be resolved.
