Edgar would beat Pettis I think, Pettis gets away with those kicks because he is fast on the feet and it helps him avoid the td but Frankie would be catching those and turning them to TD's all night long, the only thing that bothers me is that if Pettis gets Frankie on queer street he is gonna follow up on them and pick his shots not just get caught up in the moment and start swinging for broke.

I love it when people are trying to overrated Pettis all of a sudden and underrating Frankie Edgar all because Peattis beat Henderson. Guess what? Frankie beat Henderson too.

Edgar also beat Aldo, but obviously these other fighters from different countries seem to be favoured if it goes to decision.

I saw another poster call you out and thought it was unfair, since then i've studied your posts and cannot recall a single one where you pulled for a fighter that was anything other than Caucasian.

I am a huge Edgar fan and I think it is crazy to say that he beat Aldo. Yeah, he won against Bendo in the second fight and he at the very best deserved a draw against Aldo. Razor thin, yes. Win for Frankie, no.

Pettis vs Edgar would be a great fight. Pettis has some of the best kickboxing in MMA. Edgar has very underrated boxing technique.

Yes both guys have beat Benson with Edgar winning the second fight but receiving the horrible decision against him.

I would love to see Pettis finding openings against Edgar's speed and timing. Pettis can go to kicks and attack the legs and body but Edgar can use his wrestling and disrupt the timing and keep Pettis guessing.

He probably doesnt deserve a title shot technically because he has losses on his record , but IMO he beat Henderson and he is the best 155 fighter in the world.

Pettis was dominated by Guida people forget that , Edgar would mix strikes with wrestling and take a one sided decision.
