i honestly cannot find and answer to this and it's been bugging me for days.

Frank Mir has the 3rd most submission victories with 8

Royce Gracie has the most submission victories with 11

i don't think they count the injury submission or the submission to strikes as actual submissions, but is still does not exceed 8.

so who's got more besides Royce?

i thought the same thing, but of maia's 11-4 record in the ufc 5 of them are decisions; he had that long stretch of where he GSP'ed his way to victory.

no, looks to be they are keeping them inside UFC only so Lytle has 6.

i keep looking to all the possible contenders like Dan Sevren (3) or Jim Miller (4) or Joe Lauzon (7), but nothing.
