Actually kinda enjoyed this fight. Not that bad. Hamill landed a lotta nice left hooks to the liver. Thiago landed his 1,2,3 combo over and over, plus inside leg kicks. I love it when I see fighters chop their opponents legs down.

I did root for Hamill to win by decision though. Most fighters would have been KOed very early on by Thiago. Something to think about. Hamill is not the most talented fighter by any stretch, but he's got a lot of heart. Kenflo made a comment which resonated with me. Hamill is virtually fighting alone inside the Octagon because he can't hear anything; fans, opponent wheezing from a power shot, and cornerman shouting. He can't always look up at the cards or clock. Those are distinct disadvantages.

Wonder if Thiago saved himself from getting cut or maybe he might be the first fighter to get cut after winning.

Maximus: For the glory of the Empire, sire.

Baked, not fried... the healthy choice.

so why did he miss weight? was there an injury or is he just a lazy shit?

Head-butting fists and KOing the air is not effective striking.

"I think it was a bad fight," Silva admitted. "I had a bad weight cut, which was my own fault. I disappointed the UFC, but Iíll make up for it."
That's from Thiago.

I really hope he doesn't get cut, but he needs to get his shit together and make a statement next fight

I read somewhere that he missed weight because he was annoyed at the opponent the UFC had given him.

Not sure how much truth there is in that though.
