I think he has proved him self over better competition than Story.

Also I am not as sold on Rory as I previously was. I do think he could very well in the future take over the division, but I wouldn't be surprised if he ran into a few more bumps before getting there.
I guess I feel that Hendricks offers nothing GSP hasn't already seen before. He is a left handed version of Koscheck!

Rory is still very young, cdttcpl, so bumps along the way are a given, but i'm glad you agree with me that he will be taking over the division once GSP retires. Soon you will see more Canadian fighters in top 5 spots across the UFC divisions

He is, except Hendricks' punching power is not greatly exaggerated like they were with Koscheck. Who has Koscheck realistically knocked out? Matt Hughes, Yoshida and a can. Hendricks is on a streak of impressive knock outs, with brutal KO's of Fitch, Kampmann, Waldburger, and Brennenman. He has insane power in that left hand, and if he does catch GSP, he could very easily turn his lights off. I don't see it happening, but with Hendricks you really don't know.

Kos being a KO artist was one of the biggest myths ever.

Koscheck has some power for sure, but he has no where near the skill to land it on anyone decent. Hendricks has shown he can find a way to land it on some of the best strikers in the UFC.

But he struggles to land it against someone who is coming forward, like Story... But GSP most backs up when striking.

Indeed. Almost as big a myth as Paulo Thiago being a KO artist; a myth that was coincidentally started after he knocked Koscheck out. He'd never KO'd anyone before, and hasn't KO'd anyone since, yet the UFC love to hype his KO power.

I instantly thought of Jake Shields but then I realized it has to be somebody I don't even spend a thought on. Have you ever tried thinking about someone you don't think about? It's hard.

I went through all of the divisions and the closest thing to "meh" I could find was Chris Camozzi. Shields is a close 2nd though.

Matt Hamill, Eddie Wineland, Dan Miller, Mike Pierce, Chris Camozzi and Ben Rothwell. They're all decent fighters, but I don't really have an opinion on them either way, am not going to rush to see their fights, but I certainly don't dislike them. They're just a bit meh.
