That's life though right? We can't expect everything to always go well and peachy. There are bound to be disagreements but RS has made good points and I for one fully support them.

Travelling across the world and killing others because a guy in an office says it's okay isn't my idea of defending ones country.

Back to the real topic.

Does anyone think that Kennedy has a better ground game? I'm not a big fan of Kennedy by any means, but I think he is better on the ground. Natal is really overrated imo.

Who does everyone think has the edge in the striking department

Ultimately, they go to foreign land and murder strangers. That's what war is, and that's what we're "supporting".

The two sides in every war are manipulated and played off against each other, whilst the bankers supporting BOTH sides of the war, sit, observe and rake in the cash. There is nothing to support. We should be supporting our troops by telling them to drop their weapons and return home to their families, this kind of propaganda makes me feel sick to my stomach.

As for the actual fight, I hope Kennedy loses, I've just never liked the guy.
Well you for one are the minority... and rightfully so. The rest of your little rant is so full of mis-information it's not even worth addressing. I'll leave it at that.

Then start a thread about it somewhere, like in the Debate section. That's what it's there for.

Kennedy's last fight really underwhelmed me. I mean, it's gotta' be tough tying to look good fighting a guy with such a significant physical advantage, but it's not like RG was using his reach or anything.
I fully expected Kennedy to paste him in the striking department when I saw that, but it didn't happen.

I have Kennedy winning by decision by being a little more evolved and well-rounded at this point in his MMA career.

If it goes to the ground, I suspect Kennedy isn't going to want to mess around with that BJJ black belt.

It was the minority opinion that black people should have equal rights and be free citizens just a handful of years ago. The majority of people thought it was ok to treat black people as slaves and treat them almost as if they were another species entirely. Only a few years ago was it the MAJORITY opinion and law that black people couldn't be seated on the same bus as white people.

“There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.” - Martin Luther King.

The point I'm trying to make is that minority opinion/majority opinion is irrelevant, the only thing that matters is - "is it morally right, is it fair?". People need to start thinking with their own minds and judging with their own conscience instead of letting society structures and norms dictate the rules for them. This is why we have a nation of brainwashed sheep, simply unable to think for themselves.

What does your conscience say about marine soldiers who are ordered by higher up authorities to invade foreign counties and slaughter strangers - strangers on the other side of the world that have been told the EXACT same thing by their leaders and authority. Does your conscience tell you this is right? That this is morale?

I take it you're employed as some kind of law enforcer or have family that work in that arena? There are lots of law enforcers that pursue their careers with good intentions, but the facts of the matter are that the system as a whole is massively corrupt and "authority" is really nothing but a myth which states that certain people have the divine right to rule over others. This has caused so much destruction to humanity for countless years. The belief in "authority" is no more than a blind religious one. The belief in "authority" caused millions of Jews to die in the holocaust, millions to die under Stalin's rule and other notorious authoritative tyrants. All because of soldiers "just following orders" from corrupt authority.

I'm happy to debate this topic sensibly.

If you're not willing to die for it remove the word freedom from your vocabulary.

Please keep this thread about the fight itself. You are all are more than welcome to make a thread about war if you would like to have a place to debate it.

I just realized this fight is happening and I am still trying to figure out why anyone who is not getting revenue from the fight could possibly care? Least enticing main event ever
